Created for the Sustainable Building Systems course at the Community College of Denver. Students met with local architects to discuss their methods of incorporating green building techniques in structures across Denver and Boulder county.
TresBirds was the firm who converted this building in the Posner Center, and the focus of our discussion was Adaptive Reuse: an architectural process in which old materials are repurposed and salvaged in order to reclaim their use and allow the project to be both environmentally and financially sustainable.
